A commission to design and build a Squarespace eCommerce website for Yan Yak – England, a London-based leather goods company.

Yan Yak creates bags you want to keep, pass down, and never share with your sister. Working with skilled leather craftsmen in England, every bag is hand-cut and handmade in small quantities.
We designed and built a strategic, playful, and easy-to-manage eCommerce website on Squarespace. The colour palette, typography, and image direction bring the products to life online – where grainy photography, traditional leather techniques, and a 90s childhood meet.
A minimal palette of red and off-white, paired with an acid-green dot cursor, adds a playful digital twist to the otherwise refined aesthetic. We developed the design system, colour palette, and typographic style, combining all branding assets to build a bespoke Squarespace website with custom code and a distinct sense of character.
